Relationship between Mission and Colonialism Introduction Christianity and colonialism are two terms that are frequently carefully related for the reason that Protestantism and Catholicism were the religions of the European colonial influences (Kea, 2003) and a lot of the time they were known to act in numerous methods as the religious arm of the powers that be (Alfred, 2009).
